About me

I am a qualified and BACP accredited counsellor working with an integrative-relational approach. This approach draws on a range of psychological theories which means I can tailor our work together to best fit your individual concerns within a safe and compassionate environment. I have also been formally trained as an emotionally focussed therapist (EFT) to help support couples facing challenges in their relationship.

My clients have had a wide range of difficulties. These include abuse, anxiety problems, bereavement, cancer, childhood abuse or neglect, depression, low self-esteem, MS, pregnancy and birth, rape, relationship issues, sex problems, sexual and gender identity issues, stress, terminal illness and work related stress.

I volunteer as a counsellor for Marriage Care supporting struggling couples. I have worked with CRUSE Bereavement Care and AMS Bereavement Support, counselling both adults and children through their grief and loss. I have also gained insight into excluded and struggling teenagers through my work with Surrey Care Trust. This work included working with older teenagers as a mentor to help them with their personal goals.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focussed Therapy (ICEEFT).

I can also conduct sessions in French.
